EQUILIBRATE BALANCE SYSTEM IN USE AT MICHELI CENTER FOR SPORTS INJURY PREVENTION, WALTHAM, MA.
March 27, 2013: Balance Engineering LLC (Henrietta, NY) announces that it has recently placed its EQUILIBRATE SYSTEM for human balance, ability, skill and postural assessment with The Micheli Center For Sports Injury Prevention in Waltham, Massachusetts for use in their work to assist in intervention of sports related injuries. The goal of the research and work at The Micheli Center is to create evidence-based sports injury prevention. The Center is developing strategies to help reduce the personal risk of athletic injury for young athletes as they prepare for a healthy future in sports. In assessing ways to prevent injuries, they are working towards revealing injury patterns and risk factors that will assist in developing new methods, strategies and technology. The American-built system supports the clinical assessment needs for physical performance analysis and balance research.
