Update – July 5, 2012: Presenting Equilibrate at the NATA annual meeting, June 27-29 in St. Louis was an eclectic mix of different requirements, clientele and inquiries. There were attendees from around the country that represented all facets of Athletic Training and Physical Medicine. From high school, NCAA, professional sports, private practice, researchers and educational institutions; we saw a variety of needs and questions that were a perfect mix to show that this balance system meets the expanding needs of assessment, diagnosis assistance, return to play decisions and rehabilitative therapy. The experts from Balance Engineering were sought out for information on the latest innovation in balance assessment technology. Some attendees even wanted to try the Equilibrate system to see what their balance skill level was and how the technology would apply to their respective environments. All visitors saw the benefit that the addition of upper body measure brings to the current standard of lower body force plate measure. We look forward to working with all the groups that developed interest in how they can improve their neuro-physical assessment with an evidence based, objective, full body balance solution.
