November 23, 2012: Balance Engineering LLC (Henrietta, NY) announces that it has recently placed its EQUILIBRATE SYSTEM for human balance, ability, skill and postural assessment with US Naval Special Warfare (NSW). Additionally, the Equilibrate System will be used in concussion management and balance therapy training in conjunction with associated naval and specialty personnel. “Working with government facilities, educational facilities and sports organizations to further the understanding of human balance deficiencies and performance is an exciting arena to work in, and brings us in contact with many knowledgeable, caring and innovative clinicians” said Michael Compisi, president of Balance Engineering. “Having US Naval Special Warfare purchase our Equilibrate system gives them the most modern technology as far as understanding balance with a deeper level of granularity of clinical objective measurement. We look forward to working with them to develop new protocols for diagnostics. This association, along with a previous deployment of the system with the US Naval Academy at Annapolis makes us proud to provide US developed clinical technology to our military and government departments.” says Compisi.
